Spectra was Lisa Weldon, a student at Redmayne Academy in the mid-1980’s. Lisa’s powers were mild: She was slightly stronger, tougher, faster, and had an ability to read others emotional states.

In 1986 during the worst attack in the Academy’s history, Rampager destroyed a large portion of its grounds, including the Arcane Studies facility where Lisa had been following up on her interest in real magic in the world.

Lisa’s spirit was bound to the place of her death, and she wandered there for decades until Min-Daro brought The Team there to stop The Reaper. During the fight, Spectra possessed Honey Badger, allowing her to engage The Reaper directly. His counterattack by consumed spirits so overwhelmed The Team that Min-Daro instinctively banished the entire spirit realm around them, destroying the spirits, but freeing The Reaper upon the living world.

Spectra, inside Honey Badger, survived also partly in-tune with the living world, and has been a companion to The Team since.

She has displayed powers of telekinesis, intangibility, and a disturbing ability to consume others’ life force.
