Maggie Splicer is a former (?) supervillain known as Master Megalodon. She is a large human with a shark-tooth-filled mouth. As a villain, Master Megalodon clashed with most of the Improverse’s (adult) hero roster — even coming out ahead in several encounters. She was known to be vicious and ruthless but rarely harmed what she called “civilians”, (barring a few uncontrollable rages)

Her husband is known as “Sandwich Dad” a moderately-famous Instagram foodie. Their home has a safe room where he hides when her (rare now, thankfully) rages overcome her.

Maggie’s son Axel is now a young hero named Backlash. She’s less than pleased with this, but seems to be supporting him.

In 2020 (Tales from the Improverse #16) for reasons at the time unknown Wartortoise illegally flew into Canadian airspace directly for Master Megalodon’s house. She intercepted him on the front porch, fully armed, and the two fought to a near standstill near the middle of Stanley Park, where they landed after the initial strike.

The Team arrived and attempted to defuse the situation, but it became obvious Wartortoise was under the effects of some kind of mind control via hypercoral infection. Shortly into the fight the hypercoral had also infected Megalodon. Megalodon tore Wartortoise out of his armor, revealing a thin elderly man.

Min-Daro, Backlash, and The Light tried to defuse the situation with a sandwich made by her husband. The sandwich broke Megalodon out of her mind-controlled rage, but she looked at Wartortoise as she held him by the throat, grimaced, and broke his neck anyway.

Megaldon has been held in prison awaiting trial ever since.
